Hi, I\u2019m Jacq. I have been mapping away my travels since 2010 with a backpack and travel journal. I am an educator by profession. Spending three years in India, hooked me on the journey of learning the complexity of spices and the art of hand weaving.<\/p>\n

Growing up in villages full of paddy fields, and listening to frogs croaking on lazy afternoons till night, I never had enough of staying in paddy villages across Asia. I cherished these childhood memories.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I travel with a 25-liter backpack for both short-term and long-term journeys. It carries essentials only. Travel Light means coming home light as well. But I will not let go of spices and coffee, and a few grams of cheese from each trip.<\/p>\n

Mapping Away\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While mapping away, a curiosity path winds down neighborhoods and houses. This blog is created with the thought that you enjoy the same travel style. It\u2019s about traveling light and traveling solo, sometimes with a partner. By all means, you will find charming small villages and vibrant towns that you want to stroll. Along the way, some hiking trails\u00a0will beckon with their breathtaking beauty, leading you to majestic mountains that offer awe-inspiring views and a sense of tranquility in nature.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
